MacGillycuddy's Children's Consignment is located on the Westside of Vancouver BC. Founded in1984 by two sisters, this landmark store is entrenched in the local community and has always been a meeting place for families. Due to our longevity, we get generations of shoppers. Families who remember exploring the play corner as kids, have now had their own children, and are visiting as shoppers. Because we have been here for so long, we have built up a huge repertoire of consignees who regularly drop off sensational brands purchased all over the world.
What do we have:
We carry newborn to size 16 children's clothing and a huge assortment of toys and books. We have picture books, graphic novels, early readers, regular novels and a small French section. We often get retired Lego and Playmobil sets, American Girl Dolls, clothes and accessories, Duplo, Green Toys, puzzles, board games and so much more. Our prices make items extremely accessible with most items priced at about a third of original retail prices and regular sales.
We are very lucky to also have a significant designer section:
This includes brands like Bonpoint, Gucci, Dior, Stella McCartney, Petit Bateau, Burberry, Moschino, Kenzo,Il Gufo, Versace, Konges Sløjd, Louise Misha, Bonton, Jacadi, Molo, Zara, Bellerose, Canada Goose, Moncler, Patagonia, Morley,Tiny Cottons, Mini Rodini, Pomme d’Api, Bobo Choses, Misha and Puff and more
New things go out every single day!
We do a very large intake ahead of the season so we are constantly supplied. New things are always going out throughout the day
How do sales work?
We always have something on sale!
Tags that are highlighted will be reduced by 25%, 50% or 75% depending on the colour of the highlight.
Signs are up in the store to guide you and of course you can always ask us.
Designer items with a red dot are reduced by 25%
We also regularly have small sales in the store depending on inventory, these are announced on our Instagram and Facebook.
Returns and Exchanges:
All sales are final so that we can pay out our consignors in a timely manor
We make it an easy visit!
We have a cute little play-corner for kids to feel comfortable in the store. Sometimes we play vintage tapes and DVDs on our little TV!
There's also loads of free parking nearby and we're so lucky to be neighbours to some excellent local favourites for a treat like Butter Bake Shop, and Bigsby Bakehouse
If you need to grab a meal for dinner or a few groceries for the week, we're also right next next to Tracy's Kitchen and Butchery which sells a huge variety of pre-made fresh and frozen meals and soups
And you can visit the most amazing Quince Fine Florals and pick up a beautiful bouquet or shop this perfectly curated store for a special gift!

We care a lot about environmental and social well-being:
Circular fashion is one of the best ways to keep clothing out of landfills and reduce over-consumption of newly made products. One well made article of clothing can have multiple owners and multiple years of use - fast fashion is not necessary!
We have a robust charity program that ensures that clothing that doesn't sell and clothing that we pass on due to small flaws are redirected directly to families who need them. We primarily support three charities but have also provided clothing to local daycare and shelters:
